Still determined to get back on track with Philadelphia Section PGA Junior Tour events from earlier this month …
Led by senior Matthew Hurchalla, Archbishop Carroll players dominated the top of the leaderboard in the 16-to-18 division in a Philadelphia Section PGA Junior Tour stop at Kimberton Golf Club on Route 23 just west of Phoenixville Aug. 3rd.
Hurchalla of Wallingford had a steady round of 1-over 71, making a birdie at the 15th hole and posting 15 pars on his scorecard. Hurchalla made eight pars and the birdie at the 15th hole for a 1-under 35 on the incoming nine of the George Fazio design.
Boyertown junior Chase Dillman made birdies at the seventh, 10th and 13th holes and had seven pars on his card as he earned runnerup honors with a 3-over 73.

The best score among the girls at Kimberton emerged from the 13-to-15 division as Corinne McReynolds of Wayne had eight pars on her scorecard on her way to an 83.

Villanova’s Team Sokol accounted for two of the top three finishers among the nine-holers.
Henry Sokol made a birdie on the seventh hole and had five pars on his scorecard as he captured the top spot in the coed 12-and-under division with a 2-over 36.
