Henry Sokol, a talented product of the junior program at Green Valley Country Club, and Sussex Central sophomore Jake Hollerback each carded a solid 1-over-par 73 at Woodstone Country Club & Lodge north of Allentown as they shared the top spot in the 13-to-15 division in a Philadelphia Section PGA Junior Tour event Aug. 6.
Henry Sokol, a Villanova resident, made birdies on the 11th and 18th holes and had 13 pars on his scorecard, including a string of six straight pars from the 12th through the 17th holes. Hollerback, a Millsboro, Del. resident, got it going in the middle of his round with back-to-back birdies at the seventh and eighth holes and a third birdie at 10. Hollerback had 12 pars on his card, including five straight pars from the 11th through the 15th holes.

Devos had eight pars on his scorecard, grinding out five straight pars to complete a round of 83.
Wiener had eight pars on his card as he rounded out a short field of older guys with an 84.
The best score among the girls also came out of the 13-to-15 division as Bryn Brandt of Lebanon had 11 pars on her scorecard, six of them on the incoming nine at Woodstone, as she earned a Philly Junior Tour victory with an 81. Like Henry Sokol, Brandt is a Class of ’29 competitor.
