Christopher Mark Parrish of Woolwich Township, N.J. had the day’s best score with a 5-over-par 77 to finish at the top of the leaderboard in the 13-to-15 division in a Philadelphia Section PGA Junior Tour stop at Berkleigh Golf Club in Kutztown July 17th.
Parrish had a steady round over the par-72 Berkleigh layout as he made a birdie at the seventh hole and had 11 pars on his scorecard in claiming the victory.
Luke Fallon of Reading had seven pars on his card as he earned runnerup honors among the younger guys with an 85. Declan Conner of Swarthmore made birdies at the first and seventh holes and had five pars on his card as he took third place with an 87.
Braydon Dolan of Springfield took fourth place with a 103 and Patrick Manion of Villanova rounded out the field in the 13-to-15 division as he finished fifth with a 114.
Tyler Derstein, a recent Christopher Dock graduate from Telford, had a steady round that featured 11 pars as he claimed a Philly Junior Tour victory in the 16-to-18 division with a 7-over 79.
Austin Zweizig of Mohrsville made a birdie at the 12th hole and had eight pars on his card as he finished in second place with an 81. Ryan Anderson of Media had eight pars on his card as he took third place with an 85.
Rounding out the field in the 16-to-18 division was Charlie Keidel of Villanova as he finished in fourth place with a 91.
Allie Tarreto of Nazareth and Ava McCaughan of West Chester were the only two girls who teed it up at Berkleigh and waged a tight battle for 16-to-18 division honors with Tarreto carding an 89 to edge McCaughan by a shot and claim the Philly Junior Tour victory.
Tarreto had five pars on her scorecard with four of them coming on the incoming nine at Berkleigh. McCaughan made a birdie at the 14th hole and three pars on her card.
Preston Minio of Lansdale bested a short field of nine-holers as he had six pars on his scorecard, including five in a row from the fourth through the eighth holes, on his way to a solid 4-over 39.
Rounding out the field in coed 12-and-under division was Bobby Stefanski of Newtown Square as he had two pars on his card while posting a 55 that gave him a runnerup finish.
