Kennedy was struggling along at 6-over par through six holes. He proceeded to play the final 12 holes in 5-under to finish at 1-over. Kennedy made birdies at the seventh, ninth, 14th, 15th and 18th holes and had eight pars on his scorecard. He toured the incoming nine in a sizzling 3-under 33.
