A couple of players out of the younger 13-to-15 age group, Central Bucks West junior John Lee and Scott Hughes of Ambler, matched par at a tough Cedarbrook Country Club layout to finish in a tie at the top of the leaderboard in a Philadelphia Section PGA Junior Tour event Monday.
Both players aggressively attacked the par-72 Cedarbrook layout with Lee making six birdies and Hughes making three birdies and picking up an eagle on the par-5 12th hole as each signed for a 72.
Strath Haven sophomore Tyler Debusschere continued his recent run of strong play as he made two birdies on the front nine on his way to a 2-over 74 that left him alone in third place in the 13-to-15 division.

Rounding out the top 10 in the 13-to-15 division were Evan Rosenstein of Plymouth Meeting and Will Huntley of Lansdale, both of whom carded a 78 and finished in a tie for ninth place. Pretty strong showing for the younger guys overall with the top 10 finishers all breaking 80.

Proud had a run of four straight pars to highlight his round.
Ian Rotto of Kennett Square got off to a good start with pars on the first two holes on his way to a 6-over 42 that left him alone in third place.
