Adrian Jordan of Lawrenceville, N.J. took a quick hop across the Delaware River Sunday and posted an 8-over-par 78 at The Bucks Club in Jamison to finish atop the leaderboard in the 16-to-18 division for a Philadelphia Section PGA Junior Tour victory.
Jordan had a steady round with 12 pars on his scorecard, eight of them on the back nine. He made pars on the first six holes in a row on The Bucks Club’s incoming nine. Aidan DeMuro of Harrisburg made a birdie on the eighth hole and had nine pars on his scorecard as he earned runnerup honors with a 79 that left him a shot behind Jordan.
Kevin Hochenberger of Stockton, N.J. had five pars on his card as he took third place with an 87. Jeremiah Brown of Audubon landed in fourth place with an 89, Anthony Loria of Doylestown was fifth with a 92 and Leighton Smithwick of Boalsburg was sixth with a 98.
Nicholas Ryan of Medford, N.J. took seventh place with a 101 and Nathan Sauder of Pittsgrove, N.J. rounded out the 16-to-18 division field as he finished alone in eighth with a 107.
Ethan Legarda of Voorhees, N.J. made a birdie at the 16th hole and had eight pars on his scorecard, including six straight from the ninth through the 14th holes, as he took top honors in the 13-to-15 division with an 81.
Tommy Marshall of Marlton, N.J. made a birdie at the 11th hole and recorded nine pars as he claimed runnerup honors, just a shot behind Legarda with an 82. James Schramek of Chalfont made two birdies on The Bucks Club’s back nine at the 15th and 17th holes and had seven pars on his scorecard as he finished alone in third place with an 83.
Four players finished in a tie for fourth place, each posting an 84, including Colton Orris of Hershey, a couple of Ambler guys, Owen Tilsner and Dylan Henry, and Chase Gillie of Newtown.
Brent Glah, another Ambler entry, and Lannon Boyd of Radnor finished in a tie for eighth place, each signing for an 85, and Drew Soltys of Warrington rounded out the top 10 among the younger guys as he registered an 86 to end up alone in 10th place.
Sophia Branca of Warrington had a pair of pars on the front nine at The Bucks Club as she earned the top spot in the girls 16-to-18 division with a 100.
Isabella Magno of Delran, N.J. made a par on the first hole as she rounded out the scoring in the 13-to-15 division by finishing in second place with a 111.
Holden Sparks of Nazareth and Jason Mack of Delaware Water Gap shared the top spot among the nine-holers as each signed for a 4-over 40. Sparks made a birdie at the seventh hole and had five pars on his scorecard. Mack, coming off a tie for second place in Saturday’s Philly Junior Tour stop at Spring Hollow Golf Club, had six pars, including three straight to close out his round.
Quin Zuegner of New Hope, coming off a victory Saturday at Spring Hollow, had four pars on his card as he finished alone in third place with a 6-over 42. Anthony Proud of Stroudsburg, who shared runnerup honors with Mack at Spring Hollow, was another shot behind Zuegner in fourth place with a 43.
Trevor Sieben of Medford, N.J. took fifth place with a 46 and Justin Stickel of Churchville and Carter Hippauf of Quakertown shared sixth, each carding a 46.
Tyler Whitney of Cherry Hill, N.J. took eighth place with a 47, Christopher DeStefano of Newtown Square was ninth with a 48 and Liam Crowley of Wayne rounded out the top 10 in the coed 12-and-under division as he finished alone in 10th with a 50.
