Tyler Geatens of Williamstown, N.J. and P.J. Schulte of Cape
May Court House, N.J. shared the top spot in the 16-to-18 division in a
Philadelphia Section PGA Junior Tour stop Wednesday at The Shore Club in Cape
May Court House, N.J.
Geatens had 11 pars, finishing up with pars on the last
three holes, on his way to a 9-over-par 81 over the par-72 Shore Club layout.
Schulte, playing close to home, had eight pars and a birdie as he matched
Geatens with an 81 to make it a deadlock at the top of the leaderboard.
Strath Haven’s Nick Cardow was three shots behind Geatens
and Schulte in third place with an 84. Benjamin Griffaton of Pottstown was
another shot behind Cardow in fourth place with an 85.
Luke Pastore of Holmes finished fifth with an 87 and James
Dalzell of Linwood, N.J. took sixth place with a 90. Quinn Bookbinder of Wayne
shared seventh place with Riley Mostecki of Linwood, N.J. as each carded a 91.
Rounding out the top 10 were Tim Schellenger of Malvern and
Collin Hagan of Newtown, both of whom posted a 93 to share ninth place.
Robert Dominy of Moorestown had 10 pars as he matched
Geatens and Schulte for the low round of the day with an 81 that gave him a
victory in the 13-to-15 division. Justin Forman of Sewell, N.J. was the
runnerup with an 89.
Kendell Gordon of Burlington Township, N.J. took third with
a 90, Brendan Schultz of Newtown was fourth with a 103 and Joseph Fabian of
Manahawkin, N.J. was fifth with a 105.
Josie Genuardi of Kulpsville had two pars in a round of 106
as she edged Alexandra Rasmussen of Lansdale for the top spot in the girls
16-to-18 division. Rasmussen was the runnerup with a 111.
Haley Revak, also playing close to her Cape May Court House,
N.J. home, was the lone entry in the 13-to-15 division and posted a 125.
Ryan Falconi of Pennington, N.J. carded a 48 to best the
field of nine-holers. Savannah Thompson of Seaville, N.J. was the runnerup in
the coed 12-and-under division with a 53.
Reagan Falconi, another member of Team Falconi from
Pennington, N.J., took third place with a 59.
The Shore Club stop also had a couple of college divisions
that each drew a single entry.
Nathan Potts of Wilmington, Del. fired a solid 3-over 75 in
the men’s 17-to-24 division. Potts birdied the 12th hole to get it
to 3-over and parred the last six holes.
Elaine Loose of Malvern posted a 110 in the women’s 17-to-24
division.
