Joshua Ryan of Norristown got up-and-down for par on the
ninth hole to finish off an even-par 35 and best a field of nine-holers in a
Philadelphia Section PGA Junior Tour stop at Flourtown Country Club Friday.
Ryan’s two-shot victory also earned him a BagBoy push cart,
a prize that eluded him last weekend when it was up for grabs in a Junior Tour
stop at Bala Golf Club.
Finishing in a tie for second at 2-over 37 were Darren Nolan
of Glenside and Henry Fish of Malvern. Fish shot 1-under for the last six
holes. Jack Davis of Newtown Square was alone in fourth place with a 38.
Win Thomas of Coatesville and William Pabst Jr. of Roaring
Brook Township finished in a tie for fifth at 39. Christopher Buysse of Paoli
was alone in seventh with a 43.
Kevin Lafond of Blue Bell and Angelina Tolentino of Mount
Laurel, N.J. finished tied for eighth, each carding a 44. Rounding out the top
10 were Michael Om of Blue Bell and Travis (TJ) Robertson of Fort Washington,
who finished tied for 10th at 45.
