Justin Forman of Sewell, N.J. captured a Philadelphia Section PGA Junior Tour victory with a solid 2-over-par 73 that gave him the top spot in the 16-to-18 division at Medford Lakes Country Club in Medford Lakes, N.J.
Forman made birdies on the 10th, 14th and 18th holes and had 10 pars on his scorecard as he finished three shots ahead of Haverford School senior Zach Moua among the older guys.
Moua, a Berwyn resident, made a birdie at the 11th hole and had 14 pars on his card as he posted a solid 5-over 76. Moua made seven straight pars to close out both his front nine and his back nine at Medford Lakes.
Christopher Parrish of Woolwich Township, N.J. made birdies at the fifth, ninth and 18th holes and had seven pars on his card as he finished in third place with a 79.
Zachary Freed of Linwood, N.J. took fourth place with an 81,
Chase Gillie of Newtown was fifth with an 82 and Ryan Gibson of Cinnaminson,
N.J. was sixth with an 83.
The trio of Brady Roberson of Hammonton, N.J., Matthew Smith of Burlington, N.J. and Drake Brogan of Ocean View, N.J. finished in a tie for seventh place, each signing for an 84.
Bennett Newman of Villanova rounded out the top 10 in the 16-to-18 division as he finished in 10th place with an 88.
Dariel Rozinsky, a sophomore on the golf team at Council Rock North, made birdies on the seventh, 12th and 16th holes and had nine pars on his scorecard as he finished at the top of the leaderboard in the 13-to-15 division with a 3-over 74.
Sabatine Sciarra, playing not far from his Medford, N.J. home, made birdies at the seventh, ninth and 13th holes and had eight pars on his card as he earned runnerup honors among the younger guys with a 4-over 75.
Patrick Hiltner of Northfield, N.J. made birdies at the first, fourth, sixth and 13th holes and had six pars on his card as he finished a shot behind Sciarra in third place with a 5-over 76. The three birdies on the outgoing nine at Medford Lakes enabled Hiltner to tour that side in 1-under 34.
Rayan Shah, another Newtown guy, took fourth place with a 6-over 77 and Charles Friel of Gladwyne, coming off a Philly Junior Tour victory two days earlier at Meadia Heights Golf Club, was fifth with a 78.
Garnet Valley junior Ben Mayer and Tyler Whitney of Cherry Hills, N.J. finished in a tie for sixth place, each tallying a 79.
Jackson Lane of Cinnaminson, N.J. and Thomas Carpenter of Bristol shared eighth place as they each recorded an 80.
Rounding out the top 10 in the 13-to-15 division was Landon Finsen of Westampton, N.J. as he finished in 10th place with an 82.
The best score among the girls came out of the younger 13-to-15 division as Anna Firko, a Wilmington, Del. resident and a junior on the golf team at Concord High, had six pars on her scorecard to claim a Philly Junior Tour victory with an 85.
Anne Rufo of Gladwyne had eight pars on her card, rattling off four straight pars from the 14th through the 17th holes, as she finished three shots behind Firko in second place with an 88.
Emma Liu of Moorestown, N.J. and Masey Heenan of Ocean City, N.J. finished in a tie for third place, each registering a 96. Liu made a birdie on the 11th hole and had two pars on her card. Heenan made a par on the ninth hole.
Kirsten Weiss of Oreland rounded out the field in the 13-to-15 division as she finished in fifth place with a 103.
Astor Broering of Moorestown, N.J. made a par on the third hole on her way to a 104 that gave her a Philly Junior Tour victory in the 16-to-18 division.
Sophia Stultz of Monroeville, N.J. made three straight pars at the fourth, fifth and sixth holes on her way to a 120 as she rounded out a short field in the 16-to-18 division by finishing in second place.
Gavin Lane, another member of Team Lane out of Cinnaminson, N.J., made a birdie on the fourth hole and had three pars on his scorecard as he bested the field of nine-holers with a 6-over 41.
Damien Dollard, another Cinnaminson, N.J. guy, had three pars on his card as he finished a shot behind Gavin Lane in second place with a 42.
Edmond Speitel of Haddonfield, N.J. had two pars on his card as he finished in third place with a 47.
Mallie Heenan, another member of Team Heenan out of Ocean City, N.J., took fourth place with a 48, Bradan Boal of Woodbine, N.J. was fifth with a 49 and Bobby Stefanski of Newtown Square was sixth with a 51.
Rounding out the field in the coed 12-and-under division was Chase Paxton of Wildwood, N.J. as he finished in seventh place with a 53.
