Christopher Waldmann of Malvern went 2-over par on the front
nine on his way to a 6-over 76 at Greate Bay Country Club in Somers Point, N.J.
that gave him the top spot in the 16-to-18 division in a Philadelphia Section
PGA Junior Tour event Sunday.
Waldmann made pars on his first three holes and finished
strong as well, making pars on four of his last five holes. Dimitri Collas of
King of Prussia had birdies at the 11th and 16th holes on
his way to a 79 that gave him runnerup honors.

Moorestown, N.J. shared third place, each carding an 82. Carl Michael Lim of
Franklinville, N.J. took fifth place with an 87, Bobby Johnson of Mullica Hill,

pars on the front nine and made a birdie on the 15th hole as he

Stop me if you’ve heard this before, but the best score of
the day in the girls divisions came from 13-to-15 winner Rhianna Gooneratne of
Plymouth Meeting. Goonerate had eight pars in a steady round of 80. It was her
fifth straight win in the division as she has gone 5-for-5 since the Junior
Tour turned the page to the wraparound 2019-2020 season.
Savannah Thompson of Seaville, N.J. was the runnerup with a
92 that featured a run of four straight pars on the front nine and six pars
overall for the round. Elora Walker of Philadelphia took third place with a 99.
Baldwin freshman Megan Adelman had five pars and made birdie
on the tough par-3 ninth hole as she carded an 88 as the only entry in the
16-to-18 division. Adelman capped her eighth-grade season at Baldwin by finishing
seventh in the Inter-Ac League Championship at French Creek Golf Club in May.
Jamie Ciesielka of Woolwich Township, N.J. claimed his first
Junior Tour win as he bested the field of nine-holers with a solid 2-over 37.
Ciesielka’s round included two birdies and four pars.
Carson Holmes of Thorndale and Matthew Sanderson of Newtown
were just a shot behind Ciesielka in a tie for second place as each carded a

Philadelphia was sixth with a 42.
