Grayson Wright of Philadelphia made it two Philadelphia Section PGA Junior Tour victories in as many days as he carded a 3-over-par 38 at Foxchase Golf Club in Stevens, Lancaster County to claim the top spot in a Nine-Hole Series event July 21st.
A day earlier, Wright was the winner in the boys 12-and-under division in a Philly Section Junior Tour stop at Laurel Creek Country Club in Mt. Laurel Township in South Jersey.
Wright made a birdie at the seventh hole and had five pars on his scorecard on the outgoing nine at Foxchase.
Victor Wang of Hockessin, Del. and Sid Joshi of Coopersburg shared runnerup honors as each finished a shot behind Wright with a 4-over 39.
Wang made a birdie at the seventh hole and had four pars on his card. Joshi finished up his round with a birdie at the par-5 ninth hole and had four pars on his card.
Connor Michaels of Lancaster took fifth place with a 43 and Andrew DElia of Clarks Summit was sixth with a 44.
Jordan Chase of Philadelphia rounded out the field in the boys 12-and-under division as he finished in seventh place with a 48.
It was a bit of a short field for the nine-holers as there was a simultaneous Philly Junior Tour event at Ramblewood Country Club in South Jersey.
Alexa Gormley of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. also played the front nine at Foxchase as a lone entry in the girls 16-to-18 division and made pars at the first and third holes on her way to a 45.
