Keller Tannehill of Margate, N.J. capped a solid weekend of play at the Jersey Shore as he carded a 2-over-par 73 at Avalon Golf Club to capture a victory in the 16-to-18 division of a Philadelphia Section PGA Junior Tour stop Nov. 2nd.
A day earlier at Cape May National Golf Club, Tannehill was the runnerup by a shot to Kingsway senior Chris Parrish with a 5-over 76.
At Avalon, Tannehill made birdies at the fifth, 10th and 12th holes and had 10 pars on his scorecard, including a string of four straight pars from 13 through 16. Tannehill toured the incoming nine at Avalon in even-par 35.
The two players who finished in a tie for third place at Cape May National, Joey Bilotta, who wrapped up his senior season at Boyertown this fall, and Chase Adomaitis of Egg Harbor Township, N.J., also made a weekend of it at the shore as they shared runnerup honors at Avalon, each ending up five shots behind Tannehill with 7-over 78s.
Bilotta had 12 pars on his card, including six straight pars to open his round. Adomaitis made a birdie on the fourth hole and had 10 pars on his card.
Logan Hyndman of Newtown took fourth place with an 83, Dillon Ludwig of Hillsborough, N.J. was fifth with an 84 and Tyler Adair, a junior on the Central Bucks East golf team, and Braydon Dolan, a junior on the Springfield golf team, shared sixth, each tallying an 87.
Gavin Kinsey, a PIAA Class AAA qualifier as a junior at Boyertown this fall, rounded out the field in the 16-to-18 division as he finished in eighth place with a 97.
Ludwig, Dolan and Kinsey also teed it up in the Philly Junior Tour stop at Cape May National a day earlier.
Ryan Sun of Morganville, N.J. made it a weekend sweep in the 13-to-15 division on the next-to-last weekend of the Philly Junior Tour schedule for 2025 as he had 12 pars on his scorecard at Avalon to finish at the top of the leaderboard with a 7-over 78.
Sun was a winner a day earlier among the younger guys with a 5-over 76 at Cape May National.
John Wenzel of Maple Glen had 11 pars on his card, including a run of six straight pars from the seventh through the 12th holes, as he earned runnerup honors with an 8-over 79.
David Padgett of Barnegat, N.J. had nine pars on his card, including a string of four straight pars from the ninth through the 12th holes as he finished in third place with an 82.
Kyle Talley of Springfield took fourth place with an 84, Luke Miladinov of Hillsborough, N.J. was fifth with a 90, Casey McGinley of Perkasie was sixth with a 91 and Reed Starzecki of Bryn Mawr was seventh with a 92.
Rounding out the top 10 in the 13-to-15 division was a trio of players tied for eighth place at 93, a group that included Evan Hall of West Deptford, N.J., Jack Shea of Harleysville and Nolan Johnson of West Chester.
Padgett, Miladinov and Hall, like Sun, also teed it up a day earlier in the Philly Junior Tour stop at Cape May National.
Maddie Gibson turned the tables on fellow Cinnaminson, N.J. resident Emily Renouf from a day earlier at Cape May National as Gibson, the runnerup to Renouf at Cape May National, had five pars on her scorecard to earn a Philly Junior Tour victory in the 16-to-18 division at Avalon with a 92.
Renouf made pars on the first and 17th holes as she earned runnerup honors at Avalon with a 98.
Hailey Cousins of Port Republic, N.J. and Delaney Kearney, a District One Class AAA qualifier as a sophomore at Springfield this fall, finished in a tie at the top of the leaderboard in the 13-to-15 division as each posted a 92.
Cousins had five pars on her scorecard and Kearney ended up with seven pars on her card.
Gigi Gratz, a District One Class AAA qualifier as a sophomore at North Penn this fall, made a birdie on the 14th hole and had three pars on her card as she finished in third place with a 97.
Sonia Rosenman of Moorestown, N.J. took fourth place with a 104 and Antonella Ferrer of Wynnewood rounded out the field in the 13-to-15 division as she finished fifth with a 110.
Charlie Sears of Wilmington, Del. had five pars on his scorecard as he bested the field of boys 12-and-under nine-holers with a 5-over 41.
Damien Dollard of Cinnaminson, N.J., who is finishing up the 2025 season on a roll, and Victor Wang of Hockessin, Del. finished a shot behind Sears in a tie for second place, each recording a 6-over 42.
Dollard, coming off a victory a day earlier in the Philly Junior Tour stop at Cape May National, made a birdie on the fourth hole and had three pars on his card. Wang had four pars on his card.
Michael Antolino III of Richboro and Ryan Kaye of Lansdale shared fourth place, each signing for a 43, and Aiden Jose of Brick, N.J. and Mark Westfall of Medford, N.J. finished in a tie for sixth, each registering a 44.
A couple of Mullica Hill, N.J. guys, Luke George and Kayaan Patel, accounted for the next two spots on the leaderboard, George finishing eighth with a 49 and Patel ending up ninth with a 51. George and Patel had finished in a tie for fourth place a day earlier at Cape May National.
Rounding out the top 10 in the boys 12-and-under division was Kash Gray of Eagleville as he finished in 10th place with a 53.
Team Brillman from Elkins Park, Eleanor Brillman and Evelyn Brillman, finished 1-2, respectively, among the girls 12-and-under nine-holers.
Eleanor Brillman made a par on the second hole as she captured a Philly Junior Tour victory with a 45 and Evelyn Brillman had four pars on her card in earning runnerup honors with a 48.
Alexa Mcelwain of Schnecksville rounded out the field in the girls 12-and-under division as she finished in third place with a 57. Mcelwain was the lone entry in the girls 12-and-under division a day earlier at Cape May National as she completed both ends of the Philly Junior Tour’s Jersey Shore weekend.
