Dare, Wallace share top spot and a Junior Tour victory at Ballamor

Jack Dare of Moorestown, N.J. and Noah Wallace of Elkton, Md. had the best scores of the day, each carding a 4-over-par 76 at Ballamor Golf Club in Egg Harbor Township, N.J., as they each earned credit for a Philadelphia Section PGA Junior Tour victory in the 13-to-15 division.

Dare and Wallace had steady rounds over the 6,313-yard, par-72 Ballamor layout, each finishing with 14 pars on his scorecard to share top honors on a sparkling fall Sunday at the Jersey Shore.

Justin Forman of Sewell, N.J. finished four shots behind Dare and Wallace in third place with an 8-over 80 that featured a birdie on the par-4 fourth hole. Hank Kancher of Philadelphia continued his steady improvement as the graduate of the coed 12-and-under ranks finished fourth with an 81.

Aidan Farkas of Ardmore took fifth place with an 82, Andrew Zieg of Newtown Square was sixth with an 84, Ethan Legarda of Voorhees, N.J. was seventh with an 86, Jaden Minter of Royersford was eighth with an 87 and Luke Fazio of Schwenksville was ninth with an 88.

Rounding out the top 10 in the 13-to-15 division were two players – Jamie Ciesielka of Woolwich Township, N.J. and A.J. Molnar of Jameson – who finished in a tie for 10th place, each carding an 89.

Luke Snyder of Exton birdied the seventh hole on his way to an 82 that earned him a first-place finish in the 16-to-18 division.

Nick DiPietro of Swedesboro, N.J. and Joshua Murphy of Newtown Square shared runnerup honors as each signed for an 87. DiPietro had six pars on his scorecard while Murphy registered five pars.

Joe Niblick of Royersford – now that’s a golf name if I’ve ever heard one -- and Matthew Van Istendal of Haddon Heights, N.J. rounded out the 16-to-18 field as they finished in a tie for fourth place, each posting an 89.

Sophia Chesner of Moorestown, N.J. had the best score in a limited group of girls competitors as she carded a 94 as the only entry in the 16-to-18 division. Chesner opened her round with a pair of pars and finished with four pars overall.

Ajuni Oberoi of Cherry Hill, N.J. was the only entry in the 13-to-15 division and claimed the win with a 103.

Keller Tannehill of Margate, N.J. land Tyler Whitney of Cherry Hill, N.J. landed at the top of the leaderboard among the nine-holers as each carded a 10-over 46. Tannehill had three pars on his scorecard while Whitney had a pair of pars.

Benjamin Mayer of Garnet Valley took third place with a 52, Jacob Shachar of Sewell, N.J. was fourth with a 56, Anthony Beach of Westville, N.J. was fifth with a 63 and Emma DiPatri of Franklinville, N.J. rounded out the coed 12-and-under field as she finished sixth with a 71.
