Gerity, Greer, Hano share title in Junior Tour stop at Yardley

Will Gerity of Yardley, Hayden Greer of Moorestown, N.J. and Nicholas Hano of Warrington each fired a 3-over-par 75 and shared the title in the 16-to-18 division in a Philadelphia Section PGA Junior Tour stop at Yardley Country Club Monday.
Gerity, playing not far from home, went even-par on the front nine at the 6,294-yard, par-72 Yardley layout, Greer had three birdies and Hano recorded back-to-back birdies on the third and fourth holes early in his round. It was pretty good playing by all three in brutally hot conditions.
Ethan Finkelstein, another Yardley entry, finished alone in fourth with an 82. Yet another player from Yardley, Griffin Foll, shared fifth place with Daniel Wei of Hockessin, Del., each posting an 86. Another member of Yardley’s Team Gerity, Jack Gerity, finished alone in seventh with an 89.
Mason Asadoorian of Richboro finished eighth with a 92, Carl Michael Lim of Franklinville, N.J. was ninth with a 93 and Jeffrey Reilly Jr. of West Creek, N.J. rounded out the top 10 with a 98.
Ryan Rearden, another Yardley entry playing close to home, took top honors in the 13-to-15 division with a 6-over 78. It was the first time Rearden had broken 80 in tournament competition and earned him his first Junior Tour victory.
Kristof Kopecky of Garnet Valley was the runnerup with a 78, Noah Sim of Ambler was third with an 82, Christopher Myers of Yardley was fourth with an 83 and Jack Kearns of Princeton, N.J. was fifth with an 84.
Dylan Kochis of Exton finished sixth with an 87, Conrad Frisch of Dublin and Tyler Schmidt of Langhorne shared seventh place, each carding an 88, and Robert Dominy of Moorestown, N.J. and William Lesko of Villanova rounded out the top 10 as they finished tied for ninth, each posting a 90.
Liv Juliana of Malvern carded an 89 to take top honors in the girls 16-to-18 division. It was Juliana’s second Junior Tour win in as many weeks as she won her division in last week’s stop at Landis Creek Golf Club. Julie Cohen of Yardley was the runnerup with a 106.
Chaela Barnett of Churchville made five pars on the front nine on her way to a 92 that gave her a win in the 13-to-15 division, her first Junior Tour victory. Morgan Santaguida of Kennett Square was the runnerup with a 102.
Paul Reilly of Team Reilly of West Creek, N.J. made a par on the eighth hole on his way to a 46 that enabled him to best the field of nine-holers for his first Junior Tour win.
Shea Braun of Upper Makefield, Brendan Burke of Churchville and Tim Johnson of Newtown shared runnerup honors as each posted a 49. Ronan Frawley of Washington Crossing took fifth with a 60.
