Kalderemtzis matches par at Rehoboth Beach to claim a Philly Junior Tour victory

   Anestis Kalderemtzis of Glen Mills, playing in the 13-to-15 division, matched par with a 72 for the low score of the day at Rehoboth Beach Country Club in Rehoboth Beach, Del. on his way to a Philadelphia Section PGA Junior Tour victory June 26th.

    Kalderemtzis made an eagle on the 460-yard, par-5 12th hole at Rehoboth Beach, added birdies at two, four and 10 and had 10 pars on his scorecard.

   Michael Keller of Chadds Ford made birdies at the 12th, 14th and 16th holes and had 10 pars on his card as he finished in second place among the younger guys with a 2-over 74, two shots behind Kalderemtzis.

   Jake Hollerback of Millsboro, Del. was another shot behind Keller in third place with a 3-over 75 as he made birdies at the 10th and 15th holes and had 11 pars on his card.

   Henry Nowak of Wilmington, Del. took fourth place with a 76 and the trio of Kie Shaw, another Wilmington, Del. entry, Andrew Carroccio of Newtown Square and Quinn Glass of Camden Wyoming, Del. finished in a tie for fifth place, each posting an 81.

   Wyatt Cudmore of Elkton, Md. took eighth place with an 82 and Luke LaScala of Wilmington, Del. and Ayden Gallen of Broomall rounded out the top 10 in the 13-to-15 division as they finished in a tie for ninth place, each recording an 83.

   Eamon Cochran of Newtown Square finished at the top of the leaderboard in the 16-to-18 division, claiming his first Philly Junior Tour victory with a 5-over 77. Cochran made birdies on the fifth and 12th holes and had nine pars on his scoreboard.

   Adam Zink of Dover, Del. had 12 pars on his card as he earned runnerup honors among the older guys with a 79 that left him two shots behind Cochran.

   Rudy Mench of Wilmington, Del. made a birdie on the 12th hole and had nine pars on his card as he finished in third place with an 81.

   Ian Yoo of Blue Bell took fourth place with an 83, Noah Richardson of Malvern was fifth with an 84, Braden Paris of Elkton, Md. was sixth with an 89, and Landon Fox of Wilmington, Del. and Cameron Maun of West Chester finished in a tie for seventh, each registering a 91.

   Jacob Gabbard of Lewes, Del. took ninth place with a 92 and Charlie Martz of Reading rounded out the top 10 in the 16-to-18 division as he finished alone in 10th with a 93.

   The best score among the girls at Rehoboth Beach also emerged from the younger 13-to-15 division as Zuzu Connolly of Wilmington, Del. claimed her first Philly Junior Tour victory with a 91. Connolly had five pars on her scorecard.

   Amelia Nace of Furlong had four pars on her card as she chased Connolly home before settling for runnerup honors in the division with a 93.

   Emma Gangemi of Downingtown rounded out the field in the 13-to-15 division as she finished in third place with a 109 that featured pars on the ninth and 18th holes.

   Myra Glass, another member of Team Glass from Camden Wyoming, Del., earned her third Philly Junior Tour victory by claiming the top spot in the 16-to-18 division with a 94. Myra Glass had three pars on her scorecard.

   Rounding out the short field in the 16-to-18 division was Maia Alinskas of Millsboro, Del. as she earned runnerup honors with a 106 that included a par on the ninth hole.

   Preston Minio of Lansdale had six pars on his scorecard, including five in a row from the third through the seventh holes, as he bested the field of nine-holers with a 3-over 39.

   Ruben Yoon of Wilmington, Del. had three pars on his card as he finished in second place with a 42 that left him three shots behind Minio.

   Taimoor Naseem of Sinking Spring, who has been solid all spring, had a pair of pars on his card as he finished another three shots behind Yoon in third place with a 45.

   David Padgett of Barnegat, N.J. took fourth place with a 47, Jacob Russell from Wilmington, Del. and Steven Musacchio of Glenmoore finished in a tie for fifth, each carding a 48, and Ben Meixell, another Wilmington, Del. guy, was seventh with a 52.

   Chase Paxton of Wildwood, N.J. took eighth place with a 59 and Raegan Young of Middletown rounded out the field in the coed 12-and-under division by finishing ninth with a 60.
