Tall comes up big to claim Junior Tour win at LedgeRock

   Ryan Tall of Collegeville beat the heat and the rest of the 16-to-18 division with a 1-over 73 to claim a Philadelphia Section PGA Junior Tour win at LedgeRock Golf Club in Mohnton Monday.
   Tall’s steady round over the 6,243-yard, par-72 LedgeRock layout included just one birdie against two bogeys. Jacob Macinanti of Lancaster was the runnerup with a 75 that featured a birdie at the par-4 fifth and a birdie at the par-3 10th.
   Ryan Audi of Sinking Spring took third with a 77.  Jordan Castleman of Haverford and Gavin Geiger of Danville shared fourth place, each carding an 81. Marple Newtown graduate Joe Del Franco finished sixth with an 82, Vince Burke of Sinking Spring took seventh with an 83 and Caleb Clements of Lancaster placed eighth with an 87.
   Rounding out the top 10 were Ryan Woelfling of Myerstown and Sam Edwards of Malvern, both of whom finished in a tie for ninth at 89.
   Alex Seelig of Birdsboro emerged from a tight battle to win the 13-to-15 division with a 4-over 76. His round included birdies at the ninth and 18th holes. Logan Hess of Willow Street was another shot back in second at 77 and Jonathan Lumley of Royersford had a 78 to finish third.
   Andrew Morris of Sinking Spring finished fourth with an 80, Axel Kalbach of Royersford took fifth with an 84 and Evan Kraft of Mohnton and Matthew Fleming of Richboro shared sixth place, each carding an 88. Stephen Cain of Yardley took eighth with a 95, Mason Schaeffer of Reading was ninth at 98 and Davis McCourt of Philadelphia rounded out the top 10 by taking 10th with a 99.
   Gianna Ward of Collegeville won the girls 16-to-18 division with a 102, Grace Wang won the 13-to-15 division with a 99 and John Olsen of Boalsburg took the 12-and-under nine-holers division with a 6-over 42.
