Bricker claims Junior Tour victory at Morgan Hill

The Philadelphia Section PGA Junior Tour stopped at Morgan Hill Golf Course in Easton and Matthew Bricker of York had the day’s best score, a 2-over 73, to capture the 16-to-18 division.
Morning showers gave way to windy conditions making things tough on the field, but Bricker made an eagle 3 on the first hole to get his round off to a good start on the 6,322-yard, par-71 Morgan Hill layout.
Paul Fedele of Easton took runnerup honors with a 77, Hayden Rousselle of Doylestown took third with an 81 and Marco Nieto of Eynon and Tommy Lewis of Doylestown finished in a tie fourth with 82s.
Nikita Romanov of Wilmington, Del. won the 13-to-15 division with a 4-over 75. Griffin Caulfield of Ambler finished second with an 81, Joseph Morganti of Havertown and Connor Kelleher of Clarks Summit shared third place with 82s and Akhil Giri of Moorestown, N.J. claimed fifth place with an 83.
Megan Meng of Pennington, N.J. and Lily Byrne of Downingtown both shot 99 in the girls 13-to-15 division with the top spot going to Meng in a match of cards.
Among the nine-holers, Henry Fish of Malvern was the only player to break 40 and his 39 gave him the victory.
Win Thomas of Coatesville was the runnerup with a 41, Adrian Jordan of Lawrenceville, N.J. finished third with a 45, Connor Ghargel of Orwigsburg took fourth with a 48 and Zachary Sandler of Gladwyne and Bryan Sundheim of Collegeville finished tied for fifth with 49s.
