Myers, Barsh each card a 75 to share first place in Junior Tour stop at Medford Lakes

   Christopher Myers of Yardley and Samuel Barsh of Blue Bell battled through some rainy conditions to share top honors in the 16-to-18 division in a Philadelphia Section PGA Junior Tour stop at Medford Lakes Country Club in Medford Lakes, N.J. Monday.

   Myers had four birdies while Barsh had a run of seven straight pars on his scorecard as each finished with a 4-over-par 75 total over a Medford Lakes layout that measured 6,141 yards and played to a par of 71 for the guys.

   Benjamin Griffaton of Pottstown made a birdie on the 16^th hole on his way to an 82 that enabled him to take third place. Matthew Van Istendel of Haddon Heights, N.J. finished fourth with an 86, Jack Sehon of West Chester was fifth with an 89 and Adam Greenfield of Villanova was sixth with a 91.

   Patrick Bottin of Bryn Mawr took seventh with a 92 and Casey Gulati of Gilbertsville was eighth with a 96.

   Robert Dominy of Moorestown, N.J. birdied the seventh hole on his way to an 80 that earned him a victory in the 13-to-15 division. Luke Turse of Hainesport, N.J. had two birdies and finished his round with a run of four straight pars as he posted an 84 to claim runnerup honors.

   Brendan Reilly of Doylestown made birdie at the 15^th hole on his way to a 92 that left him alone in third place. Joseph Fabian of Manahawkin, N.J. took fourth with a 96.

   Emma Reilly of Doylestown’s Team Reilly had the best round of the day among the girls as she made a birdie at the sixth hole on her way to an 83 that gave her top honors in the 13-to-15 division. Medford Lakes measured 5,492 yards and played to a par of 72 for the girls.

   Avery McCrery of Wilmington, Del. did Reilly one better on the sixth hole, making an eagle, but McCrery’s 85 left her two shots behind Reilly in second place with an 85.

   Julia Ergood of Mount Laurel, N.J. had three pars in a 97 that topped the field in the 16-to-18 division.

   Zoe Sousa of Millstone, N.J. had a pair of pars on the back nine to claim runnerup honors, a shot behind Ergood with a 98. Madison Sauder of Pittsgrove, N.J. finished third with a 127.

Hank Kancher of Philadelphia birdied the eighth hole on his way to a 4-over 41 that bested the field of nine-holers.

   Will Zhang of Cherry Hill, N.J. was three shots behind Kancher in second place with a 44 that featured three pars. Ethan Legarda of Voorhees, N.J. took third with a 51.
