Donato's eagle helps him soar at Linfield National

   Bryan Donato of Chester Springs carded a 6-over-par 77 to win the 16-to-18 division in a Philadelphia Section PGA Junior Tour stop at Linfield National Golf Club on a warm Saturday.

   Donato was struggling a little until he made an eagle on the par-5 12^th and added two more birdies down the stretch on the 6,385-yard, par-71 Linfield National layout to earn his first Junior Tour victory. The Graham Company is the title sponsor of the Junior Tour.

   Jason Podgorski of Flemington, N.J. was the runnerup, finishing two shots back of Donato with a 79. Christopher Knox of Downingtown and Dan DiRita of Media shared third place, each posting an 81.

   Gavin Freeman of Chester, N.J. took fifth with an 82, John Mallozzi of Horsham finished sixth with an 83 and Matthew Law of Yardley was seventh with an 84.  James Poot of Pottstown and Ryan McHugh of Media shared eighth place at 85 and Jarrett Brightbill of Harrisburg rounded out the top 10, taking 10^th with an 87.

   Dylan Gooneratne of Plymouth Meeting birdied the par-4 16^th as he matched Donato’s 77 in taking top honors in the 13-to-15 division. Like Donato, it was also Gooneratne’s first Junior tour win.

   Alec Stern of Bryn Mawr and Patrick Laushell of Morrisville shared second place, each carding an 81. Andrew Miller of Bryn Mawr finished fourth with an 82, Kevin Motil of Sewell, N.J. was fifth with an 83 and Chase Stephano of Radnor and Darren Nolan of Glenside finished in a tie for sixth at 88.

   Peter Banfe of Moorestown, N.J. took eighth with an 89, Stephane de Brechard of Brooklyn, N.Y. was ninth with a 96 and Clay Breidenstine of Hummelstown rounded out the top 10, placing 10^th with a 101.

   Sophia Mancuso of Jamison played 2-over golf for the final five holes on her way to a victory in the girls’ 16-to-18 division. Anna McCormick of Harrisburg was the runnerup with a 107.

   Cecilia Priolo of Ambler took top honors in the 13-to-15 division in a scorecard playoff after finishing in a tie with Eden Richmond of Princeton, N.J., each carding a 95. Priolo’s back nine was the difference as she recorded back-to-back wins after also claiming a victory in a recent stop at the Heritage Hills Golf Resort.

   Olivia Schwandt of Wilmington, Del. took third with a 97.

   A steady round for Nicholas Gross of Downingtown added up to a 4-over 39 and gave him the top spot among the nine-holers. Kristof Kopecky of Garnet Valley was the runnerup with a 43.

   Aaron Skii of West Chester took third with a 44, Julien de Brechard of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Winston Kelenc-Blank of Rumson, N.J. shared fourth, each posting a 45, and Ava O’Sullivan of Exton was sixth with a 46.

   Hunter Probst of Bear Creek took seventh with a 47, Ajeet Bagga of Blue Bell and Ryan Garvey of Media finished in a tie for eighth at 48 and Benjamin Saggers of West Chester rounded out the top 10, taking 10^th with a 49.
